Vaults, climbing, rolls, precision jumps, simple sequences, confidence building, teamwork, and fun!

A fun, high-energy weekly class where boys can jump, climb, roll, and tackle obstacle challenges in a safe, supportive environment. Beginner-level Parkour teaches vaults, safe landings, and simple sequences while building strength, agility, coordination, confidence, and teamwork, all in a playful, structured setting that keeps boys active and having fun with friends.

This class is part of our Tuesday morning bundle package for ages 4-8

Sensory and Somatic Sports & Fitness

This high-energy class helps kids build strength, speed, balance, and coordination through the exciting world of parkour-style movement. Using obstacle challenges, guided drills, and creative movement games, children learn to navigate their environment with confidence and control.

In this class, students will:

  • Develop core strength, agility, and body awareness
  • Practice jumping, vaulting, climbing, and safe landings
  • Improve coordination, balance, and spatial judgment
  • Build focus, discipline, and perseverance through physical challenges
  • Learn the fundamentals of a healthy lifestyle and athletic mindset

We combine parkour, calisthenics, strength training, and obstacle course elements (like Ninja Warrior) with sensory-driven motor movement and somatic-based coaching. Our goal is to help students connect mind and body through movement while encouraging confidence and resilience.

This class is perfect for kids who love to move, explore, and challenge themselves in a supportive and structured environment.

Flexible Sibling Placement – We Make It Easy!

At Altered Course, we understand that family schedules can be tricky and we’re here to help! If a sibling would like to join a class that’s slightly outside their age range (a year or two older or younger), they are absolutely welcome.

As long as you feel your child is ready maturity-wise, our instructors are fantastic at accommodating mixed-age groups and making sure everyone is engaged, supported, and having fun. We’re all about keeping things simple for families while ensuring a great experience for every child.
