Acupuncture: Shared Stillness & Tea

Join us for a community-style acupuncture healing session led by Gabriella Sahyoun, hosted by AlterED Course. In this group setting, participants will sit together in chairs while receiving acupuncture, allowing for a shared healing experience. It’s an affordable way to experience the benefits of acupuncture, especially if you’ve been curious about this traditional medicine. This particular session will focus on stress relief. The session will be followed by homemade herbal tea and snacks. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask Gabriella any questions about acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Please remember to wear loose clothing and eat something 1-2 hours before the event. We look forward to seeing you there!

Gabriella’s journey into Chinese medicine began while working at an acupuncture clinic during a transition in her life. While working there, she could see this ancient medicine’s wonderful benefits. She was drawn to the holistic approach of treating the mind and body as one rather than treating just the symptom. After receiving acupuncture for the first time and experiencing a sense of calm and relaxation from the treatment, she knew she needed to have this ability to regulate the nervous system for our busy modern lives.
She graduated from Pacific College of Health and Sciences (PCHS) in New York City. After graduating from school, most of her patients were coming in for pain, so she has made it her mission to understand how the anatomy of the body functions and how it also fails each of us, causing us pain and discomfort. She completed extensive training in treating musculoskeletal and pain conditions using Neurofunctional Acupuncture and Trigger Point or Dry Needling acupuncture. She continues to advance her knowledge of Western anatomy, acupuncture techniques, and Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) with numerous continuing education courses to maintain her license.
Clinically, she has experience treating musculoskeletal injuries and pain conditions, fertility and women’s health, hormonal imbalances, and digestive disorders.
Thank you,
Gabriella
